Constantine Arch near the Coliseum

We arrived in Rome on schedule early Sunday morning. We have a centrally located hotel, La Lumiere di Piazza di Spangna recommended by Rick & Mary. Tried out the Metro taking it to walk the Coliseum, Forum and associated areas. We needed the walking around to get our clocks reset even though we got some sleep in our “lay flat” seats on the plane over the pond. Weather was sunny and warm. Everybody was out, especially at the popular sites. It got real crowded at Trevi Fountain and around the Coliseum.
