We walked to the Philadelphia Museum of Art under cloudy
damp skies – as close to rain as possible without actually raining. The museum
has a great impressionist collection. There are 19th century sitting
rooms from America and Europe fully furnished that give a real feel for life in
those times. Next visit to Philly we should see the Barnes Foundation Gallery.

Later we picked up daughter Julia and one of her sons, Gavin
at the airport and drove to Polly’s in New Jersey where Maggie was in
preparation for her Senior Prom.
